January 27th 2006
The England team will today fly out to Sri Lanka for a 3 match series against the Sri Lankans.
England will be lead by captain Heindrich Swanepoel and will expect a big performance from the experienced players as the squad contains a number of young or uncapped players.
The 16 man squad doesn't contain some recent England regulars including Bryn Reynolds who stays at home as he's expecting the birth of his second child. Former captain Adam Benjamin and long standing b1 player Neil Prior are also not on the tour.
We will be keeping you up to date on the tour on this site with scorecards and hopefully match reports if they are available.
